How did the Ethnic war in Sri Lanka Started/How will India benefit from helping the Sri Lankan Goverment?

india will not get any benefit in helping the srilankan government ... previous history shows that srilakan government has back stabbed indian government in many issues... it has mislead ed rajiv gandhi in the srilankan issues..the srilankan government falsly propagating the tamilian issue as a terrorism related problem..and slowly gaining the support of world countries..we the indian government will not get any benefit by helping the srilankan government... but we should try to solve the problem by conducting peacefull conversation between the government and the rebelions...
