What would a 1996 Honda Prelude with 240000 miles be worth...?

I think KBB has them very overpriced and wanted to get a second opinion, the car is the standard I believe S coupe, not a V-Tec or anything. It has a 5-speed transmission and the over all body condition is fair to good, mostly because of paint.. HOWEVER the engine is starting to show how many miles it has and is in need of repairs. Right now it is blowing a bit of oil out and was recently repaired. Overall it would be a good first car for me to work on with my dad as well as drive. What do you think it is worth, and don't tell me I should choose another car or this one sucks, etc.
