Comments On Harry Potter Anyone?

I am writing a series of essays for publication on what makes the Harry Potter books so great. I am looking for feedback from other fans to include in my articles. You are welcome to comment on the series in general or talk about a specific book if you wish. Any material on any of the movies that you would like to provide is also welcome. I would be specifically looking for answers to questions like: For you, what is it that made the Harry Potter series special? Of the numerous underlining story lines, (including but not limited to the love interests) which were your favorites? It would be great if anybody would like to comment on any of the individual characters and what motivates them. Including some of the ones less talked about. I would especially love some feedback on the character Severus Snape. He being the most mysterious character in the series and not truly finding out his sympathies until literally the end makes him a great character for thought.
