Has any one tried z bec vitamin for acne?

i have acne and it's driving me nuts! i've tried everything! pro active broke me out worst than what i was already, i tried neutragena, tri clear, masks. nothing has worked for me. my mom told me her docter had her take z bec vitamins for her acne when she was young. i was just wondering if anybody else has tried it.
