Nixon coolpix L22 problem!!?

I have had this Camara for about a half year and it has always worked well when uploading photos. Now it doesnt seem to work at all. I plug in the cord into the camera and then into the compture then i turn on the camera and it does nothing pops up it jus as if its ready to take a picture. I feel like maybe it doesnt reconize it. plzz help idk what to do! Idk if its my camera or if its the memory card in it? I just cant figure out how to upload photos.
