What is the difference between discounting someone as a Bigot and putting your fingers in your ears?

Well, since I don't toss that word around lightly, the first one is a respectable thing to do. The reality here is that there are several questions a day that are replete with bigoted diatribes. Although you may agree with some of them, that does not change the definition of "bigotry." Note: I think you mean "euphemism."
